These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and JDM Digital Technology Corp ("JDM Digital," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Calibrate: Calorie Tracker mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using Calibrate, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Calibrate is a nutrition and activity tracking tool, not a medical device or a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or health advice.
AI-generated content: Food estimates from freeform descriptions, and answers from the "Ask about your eating" feature, are generated by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) based on the information you provide and your own logged data. These are estimates and suggestions, not verified facts or clinical guidance, and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete.
Sleep Score: the Sleep Score shown in the App is a metric we calculate ourselves from data available in Apple Health. It is not a clinical or diagnostic measurement, and is not produced or endorsed by Apple.
Calibrate does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider or registered dietitian before making decisions about your diet, exercise, medication, or health, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are considering a significant change to your eating habits.
If you're experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately — do not rely on the App.
Most of your data (food logs, weight entries, goals) is stored locally on your device. You're responsible for keeping your device secure. If you enable Apple Health sync or use AI-powered features, certain data is sent to our backend or third-party services as described in our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Calibrate.
Calibrate offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Calibrate Premium, available as a monthly or yearly plan, unlocking features including Apple Health sync, AI-powered insights, and the "Ask" feature.

Calibrate's design, branding, and underlying software are owned by JDM Digital Technology Corp and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You're granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
Calibrate is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated estimates or insights will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JDM Digital Technology Corp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App — including any health outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated estimates, Sleep Score, or other information provided by the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or CAD $50 if you haven't paid us anything).
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App.
